I decided to redesign the site several years ago for one simple reason. I wanted to make the site easier to maintain. I liked the old site. It was very well organized and easy to navigate, but it was fairly hard to do even relatively simple updates. Everything from the old site is still up, and you can find it here. When I post a new article or whatever, there will be a link with the date posted below, newest first.

A site dedicated to longboarding, particularly long distance pumping. Monday, November 16, 2009. But the last two Mondays I have boarded to work on beautiful, crisp fall mornings. Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Getting the Band Back Together. Cook, off the beaten path, next to the Chesapeake Bay. Summer and early fall make for prime longboarding.
